Maybe you're one of those parents who, when your baby was born said, "I'm never going to put my child in any cheesy character clothes or shoes!" I was! And I really did hold off for a long time. Oh, I bought everything else character-wise-- books, dolls, plush, games, toys, Valentines, etc. And I did the birthday parties up right from number one: My son's first birthday party was a Blue's Clues party before they even had Blue's Clues merchandise out! I made everything-- including taking a picture of Steve in the Thinking Chair on the TV, having copies made, and glueing the copies onto all the invitations!
