ERIC WEAVER is a branding and "Marketing 2.0" consultant who has helped build some of the biggest brands in the US and abroad, including BMW, Brita, Clorox, De Beers, Ford, Johnson & Johnson, Kraft Foods, Lincoln, Mattel, the Mayo Clinic, MCI, Procter & Gamble, the US Dept of Commerce, and many more.
Weaver helped several Fortune 1000 companies take their first steps into Internet marketing, then went on to senior positions at Young & Rubicam, FCB and Hamburg-based Kabel AG. His work has been reviewed by Microsoft's Bill Gates, Vulcan's Paul Allen, General Electric CEO Jack Welch, Mattel CEO Jill Barad, Taco Bell CEO Peter Waller, and Yahoo! CEO Jerry Yang.
He's a member of the American Institute for Graphic Arts, the American Marketing Association, Ad Club of Seattle, the Seattle Podcasting Network, the MIT Enterprise Forum of the Northwest, and the Northwest Entrepreneurs Network.
A composer, photographer, and writer, Weaver founded the first online portal for composers and songwriters in 1992. He has also founded the Seattle Flickrites, a photography social group that has over 400 members.
Weaver was raised as a child by members of a secretive public relations sect, who can only write about themselves in the third person, and in AP Stylebook format.
