I'm socially liberal and fiscally conservative. I think social programs funded by taxes are fine as long as the majority of the voters say it's ok to fund them. I think the separation of church and state is a good thing. I think the ten commandments, "under God" and "In God We Trust" should not be connected to the government in any way. I think gay marriage should be legal. I think abortion should remain legal. I think research on fetal cells should be used to potentially create cures for diseases. I think illegal aliens should be deported. I support some gun control laws. I think Bush should be tried and convicted for going AWOL during a time of war. Religion is a crutch for the weak-minded, a sinister tool for charismatic manipulators and the scourge of all humankind. -splorp! in 1983
