Identity

My name's Jason. I'm a South African born - June 1983 - British citizen living in Australia, a serious geek, and a God-devoted Christian to boot. Online I go by the name of phalacee and I am currently the only person using the name as an online handle.

Relationship

Since March 22nd 2009 Jason has been blessed with Samantha, a wonderful woman whom he loves dearly. They are very happy together.

Work

I am currently looking for work as a PHP Developer.

Study

As of December 2006 I am a Bachelor of Communications with a major in Interactive Multimedia Technologies and a supporting major in Internet Computing , a degree I studied from 2004 until 2006 at Edith Cowan University.

Computers

I started programming at the age of 7, but since my family first got the internet way back in '98 I've been interested in web-design. I've been coding in HTML for the past 7 years, and have been developing sites in PHP for almost 5 years now.

Hobbies

I spend alot of time in front of a computer, at work, at uni, and at home. When I'm not, you can find me at Church, playing basketball, or hanging out with friends.

Movies

I like medieval-fantasy - I loved the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, and also I like movies like The Net, Minority Report, Blade, as well as humourous movies like The Musketeers.

TV

In my down-time, of which I seem to get very little lately, I watch shows like Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, Prisonbreak, Heroes, and Primeval.

Music

Any of the Christian artists currently on my play list - mostly: Thousand Foot Krutch, Audio Adrenaline, Relient K and FM Static.

Books

I read alot of books, mostly medieval-fantasy novels, with a bit of Sci-Fi or action thrown in for good measure. My all-time favourite author is Raymond E. Feist, with David Eddings and Sara Douglas close behind. Oh, and who can forget Papa Tolkien, the guy that defined the fantasy genre.

I also read books by Terry Brooks, Terry Pratchett, Robin Hobb, Robert Jordan, Frank Herbet, Terry Goodkind, Gordon R Dickson, and Matthew Riley.

I have currently been sucked into 'a galaxy far far away' and have been reading through the entire Star Wars collection of novels.

I read alot of web-comics. This is a list of all the web-comics I read or have finished. The white circles denote a completed web-comic I have finished reading, the black circles indicate a web-comic that is still being published that I am up-to-date with, and the squares indicate a web-comic I am still catching up on.
