My name is Michael Tiller. I am an engineer with a strong software development background. I got a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1995. I then went to work for Ford Motor Company for 10 years. I am currently VP of Modeling R&D at Emmeskay, Inc.

Along the way I was elected to the board of the Modelica Association and also wrote a book in 2001 called "Introduction to Physical Modeling with Modelica".
