This blog is a resource for those living with addiction. My poetry is for healing and revealing how my life like theirs takes has had it turns, dips, and blips on the way to happiness. It is my rock for it is build on my belief in God's might deeds taking place NOW.

The first time I wrote about the “path of reputation” I did my best to hide, in plain sight, what I was doing. I used all kinds of post modern jargon, like “value constructs”, cultural analysis and deconstruct of …. The point being that, I needed to show-off my “Yale” cleverness. I have since come to believe that cleverness is overstated and a wasted of effort. Now I say – I believe that how we act – is mostly determine by unexamined artifacts of culture that we adopt – are foisted onto us as children or worse – we assume them as “given”. The point is that to understand and create a reputation you have to take seriously the integration of those artifacts and their effects on what you say and do. My task as the reputationist is to point out some of those choices and the effects they can have on the authenticity that could be claimed.

This lens is my stand for HAPPINESS not pain. It's a stand to look at pain and see where the edges of happiness can still be seen. This is about the boundaries between happiness and those other things that sometimes blur our vision of happiness and make us be a smaller, weaker self.

Not trivia - But serious. Your place in this virtual soup of bits make the task of being authentic more difficult. Social obligations easily slip to the realm of burdensome. The show will be lightness to being authentic (earnest). Not always humorous but free spirited. Whether its laughing at our self or you it won't matter because it will be done with smiles.
