I'm a writer, filmmaker, and web strategist whose work explores the intersections of technology politics and activism. I'm currently Associate Editor of Personal Democracy Forum and TechPresident, two websites that cover how technology is changing politics, and is a frequent commentator on the use of the web in the 2008 election. Over time, you may find some of my analysis at techPresident being covered in the New York Times, Washington Post, The Huffington Post, Salon, NPR, ABC News, AOL Politics, and XM Radio, among others.
My recent projects include A Better World in Second Life?, a machinima documentary about political activism in Second Life and The Bronx Blog Project, a video and web project that examines the intersections of technology, immigration, and community by documenting immigrants in the Bronx as they learned how to blog.
I received an MFA in Integrated Media Arts from Hunter College, City University of New York.
You can find examples of my work here.
