Other Items of Note: Currently a Ph.D. student at the University of North Carolina School of Information and Library Science and resident of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Proud native of Cabin John, Maryland.

I'm interested in issues of identity - most specifically, the effects of increased use of information communications technology on how we relate to each other, the state and society. In the longer term, I want to figure out how to design systems of governance and civil society in ways that are relevant to how people live their lives today (and tomorrow!); in the shorter term, figuring out what all these words that I use, mean, is a good first step.
