Before joining Keats & Co Ltd., Ian Renert was the President of Hawthorne-Sterling & Co. Inc., which specializes in publishing authoritative research for international banking and finance. Renert was able to provide his knowledge of niche markets to leading law firms and investment banks, and has been a key expert in various legal cases.
Ian Renert gained his research skills by working in the marketing field. He initially worked for Cavendish Management Group, which is a private equity company that deals with complex financial transactions and foreign exchange markets. As the marketing director, Ian Renert was responsible for ensuring that financial advisors understood the company’s products and services so that they can buy their offerings. Prior to that, he was an Assistant Marketing Manager for Mortimer & Co, which provides financial consulting for financial services internationally. Renert made sure that the client’s demands were met in-house.
