He plays slow-pitch softball, likes clean backgrounds and smokes old stogies (short, but not too big around). His passion for photography is matched only by his love for self-deprecating humor and fantasy baseball.

He has been recognized by the Associated Press, Eddie Adams Workshop and Missouri Photo Workshop for his excellence in visual storytelling. And the Gannett Corporation, who awarded him a Pulliam Fellowship at The Arizona Republic.

David is the team photographer for the Reno Aces. And tournament photographer for the Legends Reno-Tahoe Open. In addition, his clients include Bloomberg News, USA Today, The New York Times, VIA Magazine, ZUMA Press, Chronicles of Higher Education, MLB.com, International Sports Images, PR Newswire, Wells Fargo, The Glenn Group, Renown Health, The Davidson Academy, The University of Nevada, Reno, The Summit Reno and the National SCRABBLE Association—do you know what a Chufa is? David does.

When David isn’t in Reno, he is in Half Moon Bay, Calif. soaking up the fog and eating organic tomatoes. And he is still learning to throw a knuckleball.
