I have more than 13 years of experience building communities and organizing content.

I've learned that people want to do one thing online: share experiences with others. I want to develop online tools that:

• Bring readers together
• Make it easier for readers to find content that inspires them
• Create avenues for them to share their inspirations

I am currently a product manager at OCLC.

Outside of OCLC, I consult on Web projects and help organizations participate in the read/write Web. I'm involved in some personal research on adapting business intelligence methods to the new social nature of the Web, something I call "social content management."
